The Fayetteville-Springdale-Rogers Metropolitan Statistical Area, as
defined by the United
States Census Bureau, is a four-county area including three Arkansas
counties and one Missouri
county. The MSA (most often referred to as Northwest Arkansas) is anchored by
the Arkansas cities of Fayetteville,
Springdale,
Rogers, and Bentonville
— the state's third, fourth, ninth, and twelfth largest cities, respectively.
The total MSA population in 2000
was 347,045 people. The US Census estimated the population of the MSA to be 420,876
in 2006 (up to 438,000 in 2007). From 1990-2000 the Fayetteville-Springdale-Rogers
MSA was the sixth fastest growing area in the nation.[1]

| The metropolitan area is the home of
Wal-Mart and Tyson
Foods — global leaders in retail, and meat and poultry processing, respectively.
J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc.,
North America's largest publicly owned transportation and logistics company, is
also based in the area. Over 1,300 Wal-Mart vendors
have added corporate branches or offices in the area as well, including: Procter
and Gamble, Unilever, Motorola,
Nestlé
Purina, General Mills,
and Kelloggs, among many others.[2] |

Lake |

Located in the Ozark
Mountains of Northwest
Arkansas, the birthplace of the White
River. Beaver Lake has some 487 miles (784 km) of natural shoreline.
With towering limestone bluffs,
natural caves and a wide variety of trees
and flowering shrubs, it is a popular
tourist destination.
The Corps of Engineers'
statistical records indicate a 500% increase in visitors to the lake in the last
10 years. Preliminary review of home ownership records from various communities
along the shoreline indicate significant weekend residents and retirees relocating
from Saint Louis, Chicago, Kansas City, Wichita, Oklahoma City, Dallas-Fort Worth,
Houston and Memphis. Additionally Corps of Engineers Statistical Information and
State and County Boat Registration Information are available to provide direct
marketing data to parties already visiting Beaver Lake.

Springs |
Carroll County, which includes Eureka
Springs, was fifth in travel spending per county during 2002 with more than 900,000
visitors.
From those visitors, $2,945,454 was generated in local taxes.
Carroll County was fourth in the top ten counties selected by visitors as their
final destination in the state. $35,629,391 in payroll dollars was generated in
2002, resulting in more than 3,000 jobs. The northwest Arkansas region was number
two in the state for travel expenditures with $550,105,778. This region is comprised
of Benton, Carroll, Madison and Washington counties. |

| Branson
Missouri |
| Situated within a days drive of 50%
of the U.S. population, Branson and the Tri-Lakes area serves up to 65,000 visitors
daily who pump 1.5 billion dollars into the local economy. Branson has been a
"rubber tire" destination with the vast majority of tourists arriving
by vehicles, RVs and tour buses. However, more visitors are now flying into the
area each year. Branson has also become one of Americas top motor coach vacation
destinations.
A geographical profile of Branson visitors shows: 11% come from a radius of
100 miles; 22% from 101-300 miles; and 67% from 301+ miles. The top three motivations
for coming to Branson are entertainment and shows, theme parks, and shopping.
The average income of the Branson visitor is $55,186 and average age is 57.
